Does the Free plan really require a card?

Yes. A free account can be created without a paid subscription, but the card must be verified before free ingestion starts.

What happens if I exceed my limit?

Daily request limits can reject additional requests until they reset or the subscription changes. When storage fills up, LogInformant removes the oldest logs first so new logs can continue to arrive.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. The billing integration supports plan changes and customer portal management through Stripe.

What counts as one log?

One structured event sent to the ingest endpoint counts as one log, even when the request is batched with other events.
